'With Me', 4 other Iranian shorts to screen at UK filmfest

Iran's 'With Me' and four other Iranian short films are set to be featured at this year's edition of KinoFilm Manchester International Short Film Festival in the United Kingdom. 

'With Me', directed and written by Azadeh Qochaq, will be displayed at the 15th edition of KinoFilm Festival along with 'Reaction (Aks alamal)' by Negin Homayounpour, 'The Complete Circle (Daireh kamel)' directed by Reza Aqaei, 'Silence' made by Mehdi Borjian as well as 'He (Ou)' made by Mehdi Shahpiri.

Earlier this month, 'With Me' participated in the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) and the 8th Saint Cloud Film Festival in the US.

The five-minute, black and white film tells the indecisive story of a girl who ran from her past.

It has attended several international festivals, including the Cinequest Film Festival, the 12th San Francisco Frozen Film Festival (SFFFF), and the 2018 Full Bloom Film Festival in the US, as well as the 2018 Puerto Madryn International Film Festival in Argentina.

The participation of Shahpiri's and Borjian's movies in KinoFilm Festival marks their first presence in an international festival.

KinoFilm Festival kicked off in the UK city of Manchester on November 24 and is set to run until December 2.
